2001 Ford F250 Superduty Crew Cab 4x4
7.3L Powerstroke
6-Speed Manual Transmission

Summary
This is a hard to find 6-Speed Manual F250 Superduty Crew Cab with 4x4 and the popular 7.3L engine. The truck is perfect for towing as it includes a B&W Turnoverball in the bed and standard hitch at the bumper. It also has some tasteful modifications including a light tune, intake, exhaust, gauges and Ford 20" wheels. Safety inspection was passed in January 2012 and the title is free and clear. The truck has 184,000 miles but has been well maintained and I have service records since 125,000 miles when we purchased it.

Price:
$12,500 includes B&W Turnoverball, MBRP Exhaust, Tymar Intake, and 16" Wheels/Tires.
$13,350

Mechanical Condition
Mechanically this truck is above average condition for trucks of this age and miles. The truck passed safety inspection in January 2012. Oil, oil filter and fuel filter changes were done by the book. The steering and suspension feel like a new truck as all of the front end steering wear items and bushings were replaced less than a year ago. The clutch was replaced less than two years ago. Front hubs are auto locking with manual override, and the seals were replaced in the last year. The engine pulls hard and the turbo spools up to 15psi easily under load. The engine starts easily in cold weather. When the temperature is below freezing the truck's engine block heater must be plugged in for guaranteed trouble free starting.. Four wheel drive system works great with electronic shift on the fly on the dash. Rear end is LSD. Under the bed you will find a new full size class E spare tire that is less than 3 years old. It matches the diameter of the 20" wheels on the truck now.

Interior
The interior condition is also above average. The trim is XLT which includes PW, PL, tilt, cruise, AM/FM, cloth seats and carpet. You will be impressed by the overall condition of the interior. It is clean! A/C blows cold.

Exterior
The exterior is in average condition. This truck has served it purpose as a truck and as such has some small dings on the bed. Most are not visible from 10 feet. The lower portion of the truck has plenty of very small rock chips. Under close scrutiny you can see the flaws but generally this is still a very good looking truck. The bed has a bedliner which hides a bed that was dinged up by this trucks original owner.

Modifications
We have added the following tastefull modifications to the truck. Some are included in the price. Others will cost additional. If you do not want a particular add-on I will require 24 hours to remove it.

Included
> B&W Turnoverball: Included - ($400 value new). Includes 2-5/16" ball.
> MBRP 4" Exhaust: Included - ($400 value new). Includes stainless steel tip.
> Tymar Intake: Included - ($100 value new).
> Running Boards: Included - ($200 value new).
> Ford Tow Mirrors: Included - ($100 value new).
> Ford OEM 16" Wheels with Tires: Included. You may option to take the 20" wheels. Regardless you can keep the 16" wheels and tires that came with the truck. The tires have 50% tread or better.

Additional Cost
> Ford 20" Wheels with Nitto Tires: $400 - ($1800 value new). These are Ford OEM wheels that you will see on some newer Superduty's. I chose these wheels because they do not require constant attention like other aftermarket chrome wheels. Maintenance is as simple as washing them with car was soap. Polishing not required. The value of these wheels new is over $1,000. The tires are approximately 30% tread but are evenly worn.
> Gauges: $250 ($600 value new). On the A pillar you will find a boost gauge, exhaust gas temperature gauges, and fuel pressure gauges. These gauges are by Dipricol and match perfectly the color and quality of the Speedometer and Tach.
> SCT Tuner: $200 ($400 value new). This is a flash style tuner, which is generally considered much safer than a piggyback style tuner. I have only used it on the tow/haul setting which is used daily because it improves power and fuel economy. A high power setting is available if that is your thing, but I have never run it on that setting.

Known issues with the truck
These are the known problems with the truck. There will be no surprises when you test drive it.
> Driver's side window is slow to roll down when it gets to the last 25%. This is particularly noticeable when it is cold.
> CD player apparently loves Taylor Swift because it won't give her up. CD is stuck in. I can easily swap out the AM/FM CD unit in exchange for your $100, but perhaps you prefer a more advanced aftermarket head unit instead. I leave it to you.
> Hood hydraulic lifts will not hold the hood up in cold weather. Need to be replaced.
> Paint looks good from 10 feet but there are lots of small chips in the paint on the lower rockers. There are also a few dents and scratches on the bed. Most of which aren't very noticable.
> The bed is pretty beat up but it is under the bed liner so you won't see it.
